NEW on "Creative Links"

At the list at the right column called "Creative Links" I have just added a new Link from a YouTube Channel called "Doodle Draw Art" that demonstrates fun and easy doodles and drawings. Here's one video to give you the idea. If you go to "Creative Links" and click on the title you can go and watch some other videos.

How To Keep Your Poppy Attached

Remembrance Day is soon coming and Poppies can be seen being worn by almost everyone. However, with only those little, straight pins to attach them, more poppies are falling off, than staying on.

Through the years this has frustrated me, so I came up with a solution. And I will share it with you now. (don't you feel privileged?)

Here is my video of how to keep your poppy attached to your jacket, no matter the situation or the weather.

(And please remember on November 11 at 11:00 am to take a minute of silence to remember those in our military - past and present- who made sacrifices for our freedom. Many the ultimate sacrifice)

Sincerely, Laura-Lee

P.S. I took the time to type out the transcript of my video so that it could be Closed Captioned. So please click the CC button to get that.

Easy Craft to Give to Procrastinators (Good for Kids)

Do you know a person who always postpones things?
This is a good craft to make for a joke gift.

If they say things like, "I'll do it as soon as I get around to it.", then they will need one of these: A ROUND "TO IT"

NEEDED:

Paper
Printer
Cardboard (small piece)
Scissors
Glue (for paper)
Crayons and ribbon (optional)

DIRECTIONS (makes 2)

1) You print out the picture above (click the right click and hit "PRINT").
2) Once you print it out cut out the circles
3) cut out two pieces of cardboard
4) Glue a "CLOCK" picture onto one side of the round cardboard
5) Glue the "TO IT" to the other side of the cardboard
6) Color it OR
7) Punch a hole in it and tie a ribbon on it.
(Anything you  like)

Then you can give them a "round 'To it' " and they will never have an excuse NOT to accomplish something again.

** NOTE: Once you've made it, send me a picture of it to this blog email and I'll post it, if you wish.
